Mark R. Steelman

Mr. Steelman has more than 31 years of nuclear experience (21 years management) including the management of design, construction and operation of commercial nuclear plants. His experience also includes the operational readiness assessment, and restart and recovery of troubled nuclear plants and DOE facilities. Recently, he was the Director of Regulatory Integration at Rocky Flats and the Director of the Facility Evaluation Board at Hanford. Mr. Steelman supported engineering, design and construction reviews for the DOE Spent Nuclear Fuels Project Office in Richland, Washington. He has supported engineering design, construction reviews and regulatory reviews and assessments for the Hanford Cleanup in Richland, Washington for several years. He has been associated with the Safety Conscious Work Environment initiate for the oil and gas industry, NRC, and DOE.
